I’m the lead designer and baker behind Khasta. Khasta means fresh or crispy, and is a word of Persian origin used in lingo across the Indian Subcontinent when referring to fresh delicacies and street food.

At Khasta, I focus on the bridge between culture and food by using my personal experiences and identity as a launching pad for my creations. I connect my unique background with a passion for baking to create a product that goes much deeper than the simple ingredients I use. Rather, the desserts and sweets I produce are a stepping stone for individuals to better understand themselves, their heritage, and the ever changing world around them.
